GENERAL PRACTITIONER OBSTETRICIAN
GP Obstetrician/Shared care provider: Antenatal consults
I completed my undergraduate medical training and internship in Northern Ireland. I initially moved to Australia in 2008 with the intention to travel and gain life experience for a year. 12 years later, I am very much still here and consider Adelaide my home.
My senior hospital years have been mainly focussed in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at both Flinders Medical Centre & Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where I completed my Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics. I then proceeded to work as a rural GP obstetrician whilst completing my General Practice training in Millicent, Mount Gambier and now firmly based here in Mt Barker.
What I love most about my job, is the opportunity to look after & observe the little ones, which I have assisted bringing into this world, grow up. Being a family physician, is all about providing holistic care between the generations which I consider a great privilege.
My greatest life achievement is raising my 3 busy boys! When not working, I enjoy a glass of red and a good book.
